Our Team

Charlie Hicks, General Manager

I’m excited to return home to Waco and step into the role of General Manager at MTTS Granite & Marble—a company built by my family, and shaped by years of craftsmanship and dedication. After spending several years in Nebraska as an Associate Professor of English, I’m honored to carry on the family tradition and help guide the next chapter of MTTS.
Before our time in Nebraska, I taught at institutions across Texas, including Texas Christian University and UT Arlington, where I earned my Ph.D. in English in 2015. While my background is in academia, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for the hands-on work and customer relationships that define this industry. My focus now is on continuing the standard of excellence MTTS is known for—while also exploring new ways to grow and serve our community.
It’s good to be back in Waco.

Corey Rangel, Production Manager

With over 20 years in the solid surfaces industry—and two decades at MTTS Granite & Marble—I’ve worked my way through just about every role in the shop. I’m a master fabricator by trade, but I also handle CAD programming, generate g-code files, and lead our templating and installation processes.
As head shop foreman, I oversee production, train new staff, and make sure our Saberjet and Titan machines run efficiently. I also take care of in-house maintenance, utilities, and machine repairs, which keeps us up and running without relying on outside techs.
I take pride in precision craftsmanship, hands-on problem solving, and keeping the entire operation moving—from design to install.

Tiffany Salazar, Operations Manager

Hi! I’m Tiffany Salazar, Operations Manager at MTTS Granite & Marble. I manage our day-to-day operations, working side by side with designers, builders, vendors, and clients to ensure every project not only meets scheduling expectations, but reflects the craftsmanship for which we are known. I have spent nine years acquiring hands-on experience in just about every part of the stone fabrication process, equipping me to attend to the details that matter most to our customers. And for me, attention to detail is everything. As a woman in construction, I find fulfillment in meeting the challenges, and grateful for the opportunities, the industry provides me.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy serving at our local church with my husband and our two children. Faith, family, and community are central to who I am.

Salome Stephens, Assistant Project Coordinator

My name is Salome Stephens. I’m a Texas native and 2024 graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s in Business Management. I recently joined MTTS as an Assistant Project Coordinator and have really enjoyed the role! I manage the front desk, handle calls, prepare estimates, and assist anyone who walks through the door.
